Covergirl Guide to Make-Up

Covergirl Guide to Make-Up Customer Review: Very helpful
Very helpful for beginners, it covers everything from cleansing, moisturizing, and foundation through powders, blushers, and eye and lip make-ups. It is a little dated, but the basics are still valid and very useful, and it is very complete.

It discusses the different color schemes and shows you how to determine your best range (warm, cool, or neutral). It covers each type of make-up, and it demonstrates the best way to apply them. It moves at a briskly measured pace so you can experiment as it goes, but it doesn't lag or lose your interest. It does get a little fluffy at times, but I didn't get turned off because it fits in with the "glamour" that is inseparable from the hostess, Cristie Brinkley, who genuinely seems to be trying to share some useful things she has learned about highlighting the positives.

I have watched it twice, and I think I will watch it one more time as I experiment making up along with the tape.
